I’m Mike Mitchell — a Brisbane mortgage broker and the founder of Monet Finance.

I created Monet Finance with one clear goal:

help people make smarter finance decisions without the pressure, confusion, or pushy sales tactics that have become far too common in the industry.

Whether you’re buying your first home, refinancing, investing, growing a business, or simply trying to understand your options better — our job is to help you find a solution that actually fits your situation.

Because no two clients are the same.

A big part of what we do is taking the time to understand where you are now, where you want to be, and what matters most to you financially. We don’t build loan strategies around trends, sales targets, or what a bank wants to sell — we build them around your goals.

At Monet Finance, we work with everyday Australians across Brisbane and beyond, with a strong focus on helping self-employed clients, business owners, investors, and growing families navigate the lending process with confidence.

Before entering finance, I spent over 12 years leading some of Brisbane’s busiest and most recognised hospitality and entertainment venues. I also hold degrees in computer engineering, business, and psychology — which gives me a slightly different approach to finance:

structured thinking, problem solving, and understanding people.
